Autobiography
Tursun-back Mirzo was born on May, 2nd, 1911 in a kishlak of Karatag of Gissarsky area in a family of the carpenter.
Study of the beginnings at old school. In 1925 has arrived in the Soviet school. Studied in the Dushanbinsky boarding school and pedagogical technical school.
In 1930 has ended the Tadjik institute of education in Tashkent. Komsomoli worked as the manager the general «an idol and the responsible secretary of the newspaper«
Òîäæèêèñòîí », and then the head of a literary part Leninabad ìóçûêàëüíîäðàìàòè÷åñêîãî theater of A.S.Pushkin.
In 1935 has passed to work in the Union of writers of Tajikistan, was managing organizational-mass department and the head of section of dramatic art.
In 1939 it is selected by the chairman of the board of the Union of writers.
And again year has passed … And again, as in a picture,
All lived life is drawn to me nowadays.
I am connected with my native land, as a nail with meat,
Though ïðîñòðàíñòâîâàë half-lives on foreign land.
There was I far where a song washing struggled,
But my native land I heard each ear.
Blocking a rumble and a roar of ocean,
To me the voice got into heart of a native rivulet.
Addressing to the past and the present of the Tadjik people, the poet sings of revival of its richest spiritual culture, grandiose steps
Socialist building in republic («the Gissarsky valley», to "the Tadjik mountains», "Flowering", «the Channel has come», to "V.I.Lenin", etc.).
In days of the Great Patriotic War the voice of the poet finds courageous severity. Central in its creativity there is a theme of the Soviet patriotism
And friendship of the people of our country. These are verses: «Good-bye, expensive mum», «Memories of the captain», "Sisters" (1941), «a courage Source», "Never",
«On war» (1944), poems «Son of the Native land» (1942), «the Bride from Moscow» (1945). In 1947 the collection of the selected products Tursun-back Mirzo «a youth Gift» is published.
Verses «Glory!», "deputy", «From Badahshana to the Kremlin», "At dawn", to others the poet devotes «Night of the secretary of a district committee» to heroic work of the Tadjik people in post-war years.
The judgement of historical experience of a victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War has opened new sides of talent of M.Tursun-zade, has expanded the international

The studio «the Tadjik a film» under M.Tursun-zade and I.Filimonovoj's scenarios creates feature films "Hasan-arbakesh" (1966) and «On a need of the heart» (1968).
In 1975 feature film manufacture «Rising over Ganges» on the basis of a poem «From Ganges to the Kremlin» is finished.
M.Tursun-zade belongs the big merit in business of studying of the Tadjik folklore. At its participation the first collections of oral national creativity have been published
«Samples of the Tadjik folklore» (1940, 1954, 1957).
M.Tursun-zade — the author of some articles and literary-critical researches concerning the Tadjik classical and Soviet literature, dramatic art and theater.

The majority of verses and M.Tursun-zade's poems is translated on languages of the people of the USSR, and also on many foreign languages.
Has translated into the Tadjik language a number of products of Russian writers and writers of sister republics: Pushkin, Shevchenko, Nekrasov, Dzhambul, Shota Rustaveli, Zulfii, etc.
M.Tursun-zade was visible state and the public figure, the deputy of the Supreme body of the USSR, a member of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Tajikistan, the chairman of the Soviet committee of solidarity of the countries of Asia and Africa, a member of the Soviet committee of a defense of peace, the committee-man under Lenin and State awards of the USSR in the field of the literature, art and architecture! At ministerial council of the USSR, the chairman of the Tadjik republican committee of a defense of peace, the chairman of Committee on award State awards of the Tadjik Soviet Socialist Republic it. Ðóäàêè, the associate editor of library of the poet of publishing house «Soviet writer» and 200-volume library of the world literature, a member of the Main editorial board of the Tadjik Soviet Encyclopedia.
And 1967 for outstanding merits in development of the Soviet culture, creation art product of the socialist realism, obtained a national recognition and workers helping communistic education, and also for active and fruitful public work the Presidium of the Supreme body of the USSR has appropriated M, Tursun-back a rank of the Hero of Socialist Work.
It is awarded by Lenin's four awards, an award of the October Revolution, three awards of the Labour Red Banner, two awards «Honour Sign», medals and Certificates of honor of Presidium of the Supreme body of the Tadjik Soviet Socialist Republic, and also an award of the Bulgarian National Republic «Cyril and Mefodija» II degrees, a medal of Nasera (ÀÐÅ).
Has died on September, 24th, 1977 in a city of Dushanbe.

In 1974 it is awarded a high award for active fighters for peace — «the Gold medal of the Soviet committee of a defense of peace».
